The official village year has begun and at Noon the Office of Mayor was turned over to our new mayor, Maria Moore.

Today Maria met with the Village Attorney to review the status of pending litigation.  Each case must be assessed to ascertain whether it can be settled while preserving the paramount interests of our village, or whether further litigation is required to reach a proper conclusion.

The first meeting of the Board of Trustees wih Maria as our mayor was held at 7:00 p.m.  Maria, as well as Trustees Urban and Palmer were sworn in to office.
